From $500 to $3,000 in four days: How yet another scam exchange, Veltriq Holding works

On the r/CryptoScams forum, user Upbeat-Function-8420 decided to test his suspicions about the Veltriq Holding platform. He invested $500 in Bitcoin after a childhood friend told him about his successful day trading. According to the post's author, his account balance magically grew to $3,000 in 4 days, which gave rise to well-founded doubts.

Commenters instantly dispelled any hopes of easy riches. According to user zenecence, the author had simply turned his $500 into $0, while user intelw1zard flatly wrote that it was a scam. User SecureWriting8589 explained that schemes like this pop up every day under all sorts of names. Scammers churn out hundreds of new websites weekly so that victims can't find reviews of a specific resource. He also bluntly added that the very "friend" who brought the author to this platform was never actually his friend.

User sorrowedwhiskypriest asked the most important question: had the friends actually tried to withdraw the money? As the author himself admitted, they hadn't. According to sorrowedwhiskypriest, this means the numbers on the screen are simply fake, and there is no real money behind them.

User zamula summed it up by saying that unrealistic returns are always a sign of fraud and advised using only large, well-known, and regulated exchanges. User npaladin2000 added that there is no "single lucky exception" where such fairy-tale percentages turn out to be true. Unfortunately, the post's author and his friends have already lost their deposits, and any attempt to recover them through "recovery services" will only lead to yet another scam.
