DASAD — a pyramid wearing an AI-trading mask

Yesterday on Bitcointalk, user albon — a forum legend with merit pushing 2,500 — put out a warning about a platform called DASAD. And the trigger is pretty telling. Some forum member had been actively promoting the service, swearing the project had been around since 2017. A quick check came back hilarious — the platform's domain is all of 7 months old.

DASAD bills itself as a smart AI bot for crypto investors with fixed guaranteed returns. According to the community, the basic plan pays 1.5% a day over a 30-day cycle. Subscriptions and referral tiers promise anywhere from 2.96% to 4.54% per day. And there you have it — all the "magic of AI" folks.

According to the thread's author, the site comes with a whole bouquet of red flags. Security services flag the domains as a financial scam with an ultra-low trust rating — Malwarebytes blocks dasad as a phishing site. The platform runs fake certificates stitched onto plain business filings just to look legit. There's no official app on Google Play — no official social media — no reviews on the well-known platforms. The only exception is dasad itself, where reviews are mostly fake and may well have been written by the organizers. Anyone curious can also catch the YouTube exposés [1] [2].

The domains are a story of their own. There are already five of them, and the oldest is 11 months old. Per albon, that's how the pyramid covers its back — one address gets shut down, they hop to the next one. Oh, and traces of the promo go all the way back to May — it's just that back then it was flagged by their pals... I mean, community members Charles-Tim and RGBTC. The first noticed the link didn't lead to a bot but to a trading platform with deposits; the second straight-up called it what it is — a fixed daily percentage is a Ponzi, and it mostly runs in poor countries.

According to user hugeblack, the daily yield alone — 2.96–4.54% — is enough to write the service off as a scam. No legitimate investment model can physically generate that.

According to user Bitcoin_Area, it's a pyramid straight out of the textbook. What surprised him is that the moderators still haven't nuked the promoter's thread — the guy even posted his referral code, 215*** a direct violation of the forum's anti-referral-spam rule.

A fun little detail to wrap this up — per albon, someone marked his report as "Bad" despite all the evidence. But he's not backing down: he updated the thread, added the new domain, and submitted all five addresses to MetaMask for blacklisting.

Bottom line: fixed daily percentages are pyramid math, not trading. The market doesn't pay 4.54% a day on a steady basis — and it never will. A company registration on gov.uk, as the author noted, isn't proof of legitimacy either.
