Over on r/CryptoScams, user u/OldCryptoWannabe76 complained that he can't withdraw his profits from the Useeon platform. By his own estimate, he'd done pretty well — but he can't get a single cent out of his account. Support kept giving him hopeful timelines — "we'll sort it out by Monday" — then "by Friday" — and then just vanished. Nobody answers emails or WhatsApp messages. The author asked the community: has anyone actually managed to withdraw from this platform?
According to user u/SecureWriting8589, who's got the top 1% commenter badge, it's a hundred percent scam, and he took the author's illusions apart point by point. You might be the site's only user — or one of a very few. The exact same code template runs hundreds and thousands of scam sites under different names and addresses. That's why you won't find any other victims of this particular brand — but thousands of victims of the exact same scenario? Plenty. And not one of them has withdrawn a dime, because there's nothing to withdraw — the money you send goes straight into the scammers' pockets. The "profit" you see is just numbers on a screen, nothing more. Support doesn't exist there and never did. He also asked the author some follow-up questions — how did he find the site, what returns were promised, was he asked to pay extra "fees" and how much of his own money is stuck in there.
The hook, according to the author, was the classic play. A group he'd been trading stocks with for a long time brought him in — then the group pivoted to crypto — and he was one of many who ended up on this platform. The lesson came at a steep price: live and learn — and trust no one, period. To which the other guy rightly replied — a truth that's a good hundred or two hundred years old — no stranger online wants to make you rich, though there's never a shortage of people happy to get rich off you.
According to user u/Few_Mention8426, the platform is a conveyor-belt product. The domain was registered in 2020 but only renewed in March — it sat parked for years, so the site itself is six months old at most. The template circulates through shady GitHub repositories and is used by a whole crowd of scams. The legend of former Airbnb engineer Thomas Yanes founding the global exchange EEON isn't backed up by a single public source. It's nowhere in the top-100 exchanges on the independent trackers CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko. The phrase "second contract investment model" — short-term or high-yield options — is signature pig-butchering and romance-scam jargon. MSB registration with FinCEN or FINTRAC is not a license at all — it's basic anti-money-laundering paperwork, and US and Canadian regulators don't consider such outfits safe. And as a financial or trading company, the platform isn't registered there at all.
According to user u/Narrow_Function9537, there's also a nasty side effect — the scammers themselves can read the Reddit post and reply pretending to be a successful client. Something like: "I got all my money out — it just took time and patience — you can do it too". The goal: win your trust and squeeze more out of you.
The "profits" these platforms show you don't exist in any shape or form — the only thing that's real is your money going out.
