Over on the CryptoScams subreddit, user CopperTiger0826 posted asking whether getwayventures is a scam. Within a couple of hours, about a dozen comments piled up under the post, and the community's answer was unanimous.

The playbook is painfully familiar. The platform gets you to invest from 200 USDT. You put your money in and watch your "profits" grow on the screen. But the moment you try to withdraw, the platform sets a condition — pay a permit fee and a withdrawal fee. 500 bucks total. And they swear it's all refundable.

According to user subliziminal, it's a scam and the money's already gone — the main thing now is not to send another dime. According to SnooGuavas2610, you can see it with the naked eye: first the victim loses 200 bucks, then they're asked to send another 500 so they can lose that too. According to Nathaniel_Sparky500, the answer here is just plain obvious.

User cierek pointed out an important detail — the person who talked you into signing up on the platform is the scammer. It's a classic move in these setups: victims are usually brought in through new "friends" on messengers who spend weeks winning their trust.

According to user Ibdreddog-2025, any platform where you don't control your own money is a scam, a thousand percent. His math is simple: you make half a million, and they'll demand 50 grand in fees. Real brokers don't charge rates like that — and you're not getting your money back.

And DrSpeckles nailed the trick with the word "refundable": if those 500 bucks really can be refunded, they'll slap another fee on the refund itself — something like a "refund release fee". And round and round it goes until you're out of money.

Bottom line — classic advance-fee fraud. Small way in, fake profits, ever-growing payments just to withdraw. If someone recommends getwayventures or asks you to pay to get your profits out — just walk away.
