A warning has appeared on Reddit about an actively advertised phishing website, which masquerades as the official Bloom Soda store.

According to user Important_Freedom_49, the scammers managed to obtain the details of three different bank cards, as well as the email addresses and phone numbers of him and his wife. The victim admits that he usually spots malicious websites easily, but this time he fell for it due to being in a hurry.

The mechanics of the scam were cunning: when his wife's card was declined, the user assumed the issue was on the bank's end and entered the details of his debit and credit cards one after the other. Only after the third failed attempt did he notice suspicious details — the website stated that it accepted PayPal, but there was no button to select it, and text errors began to appear on the subpages. The ad for this resource was run through Google, sponsored by a company from China.

The main marker of the counterfeit, which the post's author noticed later, was an extra letter in the URL. The brand's original domain contains only one "n".
