In the r/Scams community, user SeattleBrain warned about the fraudulent website Liquidatebids, which presents itself as a platform for selling cars and RVs. The poster was intrigued by the listings because of the low starting bids, but a closer look revealed that the ads lacked VIN numbers and detailed descriptions, and the photos appeared to have been stolen from other sources. Attempts to contact the company by phone and e‑mail were unsuccessful. According to SeattleBrain, the auction’s Facebook page has 48 reviews, all posted five days ago from suspiciously similar fake profiles. In addition, a check showed that the company’s LLC was registered in Virginia only on August 3 2026.

User MultiFazed also added that the physical address listed on the Liquidatebids site actually belongs to a completely different, unrelated company called "Patriot Homes", which further confirms the scam nature of the project.
