Over on r/Scams, user u/Maximum-Money6123 posted a report tagged "Scam report" with a [IN] country tag. The story goes: their friend's Instagram account got hacked, and from that account a message went out to all followers — the author included — with a fake screenshot of an Elon Musk tweet. In the author's opinion, the screenshot is either Photoshop or AI-generated. In the tweet, Musk supposedly launches a prediction platform — the author describes it as "a bitcoin casino for everyone" — and promises a free $5,000 bonus. The site itself, they say, is actually made pretty well, but it's stuffed with the usual AI junk: fake reviews, fake leaderboards, a chatbot, plus made-up partnerships with the Chicago Bulls and crypto exchanges.

The author didn't attach any other proof — no transfer amounts, no transaction hashes — so there are no victims shown outright in the post.
The most interesting bit turned up in a public urlscan.io scan from November 4, 2026: when you hit gtagrok.com, the request goes outside the domain and lands on the Google Chrome download page. That's textbook cloaking — automated checks and unwanted visitors get shown a harmless placeholder, while a real human following the right link sees the casino.
The comments under the post are all substance, no fluff. In Helostopper's view, getting hung up on the site name is pointless: "Site name doesn't matter it will change". He also points out the same scheme has been floating around under MrBeast's name for ages. And Cutwail's rule couldn't be simpler: "If you you ever see a screenshot of some celebrity arsehole giving away money, it's a scam".
The context makes it clear this isn't a one-off — it's a serial template. The same builder with a $2,500 bonus and fake celebrity-branded casinos keeps popping up in r/Scams and r/CryptoScams: the domains change, but the layout, the bonus banner and the fake stats stay almost identical. Write-ups of this scheme point out that the bait is either a deepfake video, a fake tweet screenshot, or a message from a hacked friend's account. There are official Musk warnings out there too: Switzerland's NCSC broke down a deepfake crypto giveaway where scammers raked in $35,400 across twenty transfers. California's regulator, the DFPI, has the Webelon case — a fake Tesla giveaway with a QR code; the victim sent $5,000. And on November 4, 2026 — literally the day before this post went up — a similar Musk deepfake was running on a hijacked YouTube stream with an audience of over half a million.
The practical advice is short. If the message came from a hacked friend's account, the most useful thing you can do is reach that person through a different channel and help them get their access back — password change and two-factor auth included. Report the site to Instagram and X, plus your local anti-fraud authority. And never deposit anything to unlock a bonus — that's a given. "Free money" that first asks you to pay in only ever gets "returned" inside the casino's own interface.
