A discussion has unfolded on the BitcoinTalk forum regarding the crypto casino Shuffle, which is accused of refusing to pay out a $17,000 win. According to user Rimi Mav, the platform employed a "KYC inversion" tactic: it accepted deposits without issue and even approved a small withdrawal of €28, but blocked the large win, demanding additional identity verification.
The author of the post claims that their account had already passed full verification (levels L1/L2/L3) back on July 28, 2026. As proof of their claim, they provided a passport, a utility bill from Sogedo, and a video recording of a successful login to the Sogedo personal account using their credentials. However, after the large win, the administration requested a video verification via the Sumsub system.

In an update to the post, according to Rimi Mav, a support representative named Gregory justified the blockade by stating that the system recognized a man in the video, even though the account belongs to a woman. The user noted that the AI system made a mistake due to her short haircut and the presence of her son nearby during the recording, giving a 68% probability of the subject being male. Furthermore, support claimed that the address document was "blurry", even though the exact same bill had been accepted as valid for the instant €28 withdrawal the previous day.
The complainant emphasizes that the casino's actions violate the terms of their own Curaçao Gaming Control Board license (OGL/2024/1337/0628), as checks should be proportional and carried out before gambling begins, not after a large win is obtained. Complaints have already been filed with the Curaçao regulatory authorities, as well as on the platforms AskGamblers and CasinoGuru.
