In the r/Scams community, user Ksmit023 warned about a scam store called Bookwreath Store, which previously operated under the names Sarah's Wreaths and Next Chapter Wreaths. The brand is heavily advertised on TikTok, but real buyers do not receive their goods. The author of the post placed an order on July 27, 2026. Despite the store claiming to be located in California, the payment was charged in Canadian dollars, and the order was supposed to be shipped from China. The next day, the buyer received a shipping notification, but 24 days later, the tracking number shows that the package was never picked up by the carrier. Customer support completely ignores messages, and negative buyer comments are deleted from social media. The victim had to initiate a transaction dispute through her bank.
In the comments, users broke down the main red flags of this scheme. According to user ky0877, the website's domain was registered just five weeks ago, which is a clear sign of a scam. Users WhyDoesOklahomaExist and tsdguy emphasized that having a TikTok ad doesn't make a store legitimate, as scammers simply buy ad impressions, and they strongly advised against making purchases through social media. According to user PlasticGirl, product photos on such sites are often AI-generated or stolen from real artisans. User Pencil161 noted that the absence of negative reviews online doesn't guarantee a seller's honesty, as scam projects constantly change names and may not have been exposed yet. In turn, user LazyLie4895 advised never to cancel a bank dispute under any circumstances, no matter what the scammers promise after the payment is disputed.
