A detailed warning about a new, highly sophisticated crypto scam has appeared on Reddit. According to user Ok-Place6569, scammers are actively recruiting victims through Facebook ads and Telegram channels, using the classic pig butchering scheme. The chief recruiter hides behind the name "Alex".

The scheme looks solid: victims are promised access to a closed "Alex Ryland Private Club", supposedly based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi and run by Arab investors. Inside the club, users are offered an automatic AI bot for trading crypto 24/7. As the author of the post notes, for investments starting from 4,500 euros, they promise simply astronomical returns — from 18% to 100% daily.

But the devil is in the details. According to Ok-Place6569, the main red flag is the age of the domain. Whois data shows that the ortenix website was registered as recently as July 25, 2026. In other words, we're looking at a completely new resource created solely to steal money, not a "stable luxury club with years of history." The site is hidden behind Cloudflare, and as Etherscan data shows, all the crypto funds transferred by users remain in the scammer's wallets — victims are given neither private keys nor seed phrases. At the moment, their Telegram group already has more than 2,000 members.

The most interesting part begins when the "profit" on the screen reaches huge sums and the victim tries to withdraw the money. According to Ok-Place6569, the withdrawal is instantly blocked, citing the claim that crypto transfers have supposedly been "rejected by the authorities". In return, the scammers offer a fake bank transfer in dollars, but before that they demand an upfront "regulatory fee" of 250 euros. As the author emphasizes, paying this fee is strictly forbidden: if the victim refuses, the scammers simply change the status to "withdrawal completed", block the account, and disappear.

A couple of days later, the author of the post added an important clarification. According to Ok-Place6569, the design of the Ortenix website is an exact replica of the templates used in previous scam projects. In all likelihood, this is the same group of scammers that simply changes the site's name and returns every few weeks to swindle a new batch of gullible investors.
