User Head_Work8441 is warning about the crypto exchange NeoxEX, where his $500 Bitcoin deposit simply vanished. According to him, he wanted to buy a new dubious token (a Bitcoin fork, BIP110) that was claimed to be exclusive to this platform. The first red flag was that the exchange does not accept fiat money — only cryptocurrency. The transaction received more than 18 confirmations on the network, even though the exchange's rules only require three, but the money never appeared in his balance. Meanwhile, the platform's interface displays fake activity: supposedly other users are trading 1–2 BTC, while the new token's price has crashed by 99.8%.

In the comments, users harshly criticized the author for trusting a no-name exchange while ignoring major platforms like Binance or Coinbase. According to user Extension_Vanilla934, this exchange has been hiding its scam schemes behind the excuse "we are in beta testing" for four years, trades scam tokens, and inflates its trading volumes. User Main-Anywhere1617 added that he almost fell for their Telegram ad, but a 99% price drop should have raised alarm bells.

The exchange's official account (NeoxaNet) tried to justify itself in the comments. According to the platform's representative, it is a "small beta exchange" and they asked the user to open a ticket to resolve the issue. However, they managed to misread the victim's post: they thought that the 18 confirmations were some kind of rule of theirs, although the author was writing about the transaction status on the blockchain. User fxtpd noted that such an arrogant and careless approach from support only confirms the fraudulent nature of the resource. The author of the post himself refused to publicly share the transaction hash so as not to expose his wallet balance, but urged everyone to stay away from this platform.
