Reddit users are mass-warn­ing that the private investment club Blue Ocean Society (BOS) has turned out to be a large-scale financial pyramid. The platform promised investors incredible returns — from 7.5% to 36% monthly in cryptocurrency — but in reality it simply freezes the money and feeds clients excuses for years.

User Frosty-Monk2343 wrote that he and his wife invested a large sum, but a withdrawal request filed in April 2025 has still not been fulfilled. According to Frosty-Monk2343, support hides behind mysterious banking problems. The author conducted an independent blockchain analysis and reported the case to the Swiss police, as the money simply vanished. He urges everyone to independently verify the structure of such clubs and not invest a penny in them.

As it turned out from earlier discussions, this scam has been going on since 2022. According to user Ok_Growth_3171, BOS constantly pushed back payout deadlines, invented new "investment islands" with huge returns that eventually collapsed, and even made people open offshore companies. When payouts finally came to a complete halt, the management blamed a certain trader named Sean, who allegedly stole the money and ran off. User Successful_Umpire_45 added that the founders simply shut down internal chats, laid off employees, and are now hiding from thousands of defrauded investors while continuing to promote new dubious schemes.

In the comments, users unanimously declared BOS a scam. User scamalert9, a professional in the investment field, noted that the club uses non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to intimidate victims and prevent them from communicating with each other. Users advise victims to keep all screenshots and immediately file complaints with the SEC or local police, as well as ignore the hackers who offer in private messages to recover lost money for a fee.
