Fake exchange Wallstreeteras

User sam_9333 shared a story about how he encountered the fraudulent crypto platform Wallstreeteras. According to him, after he started trading on the site, his withdrawals were blocked. The platform refused to release the funds, demanding that he first top up his account with an additional amount. Fortunately, the author of the post realized what was going on and did not transfer any new money, getting off with a loss of $1,200.

In the comments, users explained that this is the classic finale of such scams. According to user LavaPoppyJax, if you transfer them more money, they will simply take that too. He warned that the author should now watch out for "recovery scammers" — fraudsters who pose as lawyers, hackers, or police officers and promise to return the stolen money for a fee. User PiSquared6 confirmed that the victim will almost certainly start receiving messages from fake FBI agents and fake hackers.

User zamula added that there is never any point in using unknown financial sites — you should trade only on large, reputable exchanges. He stressed that anyone on the internet who recommends a specific platform for investments is a scammer, because no one wants to help a stranger get rich for free.
