Users are warning about the fraudulent crypto platform TLrex, which uses an old scheme involving fake dashboards. User Outside_Version7199 wrote that on the day of the promised profit withdrawal, the group admins began demanding from participants the so-called "reactivation fee". The scammers scare victims by claiming that the US government and Citibank are about to block their accounts if they don't pay by the deadline. Those who try to expose the scheme in the chat are simply banned, while the local manager Jennifer insults participants, calling them poor. The author of the post himself didn't lose any money — a relative paid for his contract, and he simply watched the scam unfold for two months, gathering evidence.
In the comments, users confirmed that this is a classic scam. According to user gidoc_nerd, all the numbers on the screen are made up, and the scammer's only goal is to squeeze as much money as possible out of people under the pretext of fees. User Tall_Run_2814 added that legitimate companies never use such strange and convoluted web addresses, because they need to be easy to find. User curiouslady_0211 said that her friends invited her too, but she is still hesitant and waiting to see whether people actually receive their money. The author of the post directly advised her not to invest a single penny, noting that the manager's account is fake.
