escoin.ee — ELG withdrawal is stuck in endless "verification" limbo

Over on the r/CryptoScams subreddit, user u/Shoddy-Emotion-3022 posted a warning about the escoin.ee platform — and he wrote it in French, asking people to spread the alert as far and wide as possible. On October 18, 2026, he moved his ELG tokens from his Bitvavo wallet over to this platform. When he tried to cash out, they told him he needed to go through identity verification first. He sent in his documents, but the check got stuck at "Under review" and hasn't budged since. Two support tickets went completely unanswered.

Another big red flag — the site itself openly admits it's just a demo of the Escoin Exchange software and says that part of the trading activity is simulated. So basically, this guy sent real money to a platform that calls *itself* a demo. To his credit, the author is honest about it: he still has no idea what happened to his funds, and he's asking everyone to hold off on deposits until things get clearer. He ends with a question — has anyone actually used this platform, and did anyone manage to get their money out?

According to user KEC112992, whoever talked you into this site is probably the one running it. From what he's heard, there are about three Malaysians behind the platform, sitting in some office building — there's no customer support at all, it's all fake. The author pushed back and asked where that info came from. But KEC112992 replied that all these scam platforms work exactly the same way, no exceptions. And then he dropped a fun little detail — these outfits can even hire a pretty girl for a three-minute video chat with the victim.

According to user SecureWriting8589, who's got the top-1% commenter badge, this is an unknown, shady crypto platform. Sites like this are all scams, and he honestly can't figure out why anyone would send money there in the first place. He straight-up asked the author what made them transfer money over.

Bottom line — a painfully familiar pattern. Deposits go through in seconds, withdrawals get blocked by never-ending verification, and support is dead silent. Meanwhile, the platform itself admits that some of its activity is simulated. If anyone asks you to send ELG — or any other crypto — to escoin.ee, just don't do it.
